Dr. Espada is an EMDRIA-approved EMDR Trainer and Consultant with an extensive background in trauma-focused therapies. Having trained at the Trauma Center under Bessel van der Kolk, she brings a wealth of knowledge in diverse therapeutic modalities including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Ego State Therapy, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Polyvagal Theory, Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Therapy (SMART), Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC), and trauma-informed yoga.Â
Dr. Espada founded ITTI with a mission to expand the reach of trauma training and create a lasting impact. Through the EMDR program, Dr. Espada and ITTI are committed to diversifying the EMDR community by bringing together practitioners from various ages, genders, and racial/ethnic backgrounds. By promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment, we not only enrich the training experience but also improve the quality of trauma therapy for diverse populations.
